Ciao Giro for another year

Well I would be called an idiot if I said that this years Giro was boring, it was infact the exact opposite. The race came right down to the wire in the final stage which was an individual time trial.

Well the guy I wanted to win won so that’s put a smile on my face. I would have been absolutely gutted if Ricco had won. I can’t stand the guy! I has such a big mouth you could drive a train through it. After a great race of which I managed to miss the best stages (I was cycling the Tour of Wessex), the final top five were as follows.

1. Alberto Contado

2. Ricardo Ricco

3. Marzel Bruseghin

4. Franco Pellizotti

5. Dennis Menchov

I think I’m right in saying that all six brits finished the Giro so well done to you all! Oh and nice show Brad in the last stage 4th.
